EGGS - VERY nutritious, but there are points to consider
1) WHEN to eat eggs? between 14:00 & 16:00 this is when the digestive system processes them with maximum nutritional value - eggs for breakfast is apparently not a great idea
2) RAW EGGS? NEVER EAT raw eggs for any reason
3) WHAT PARTS to eat? white, yolk AND if possible the membrane between shell and white, which is VERY nutritious - the SHELL is also good for you and can be ground up and mixed with other things
4) COMBINE with broccoli, spinach or onions: this optimises the digestion of nutrients
5) HOW TO COOK?
  • Don't cook in high temperature oils. BOILED OR POACHED IS MUCH BETTER.

  • If you MUST have a fried egg then use extra virgin olive oil.
