Neutron Stars (pulsars)

A neutron star is what is left after the collapse of a large star. It is usually no more than 20 miles in diameter and consists ONLY of neutrons - the centre of atoms with electrons stripped away.

ONE TABLESPOON (see below) of a neutron star would weigh about three billion tons (3,000,000,000 tons)
