"else" .... like almost everything else, it's not so difficult .....


"else" has the idea of "(an)other". Look at these examples and practise saying them ....

Anne says:

I don't like
this place.

I'd like

I'd prefer

to go
somewhere
else.
that.
to buy
something
him.
to dance with
someone
Sam replies:

There's
nowhere
else
to go.
nothing
to buy.
noone (or nobody)
to dance with.

Well, I'm sorry!

That's
a pity.
Everywhere
else
is full up.
Everything
is too expensive.
Everyone
already has
a partner.
